Tournament structure and tie-breaks will be confirmed at the start of each event, as everything is very much based on the number of players present.
Assumptions:
The total player count will be no more than 12 players.
The event will play at least a little quicker than the timetable above indicates.
The Final will (almost certainly) be best-of-3, and probably longer than 45 minutes.
There’s may be some overlap between the Sealed (Finals) and the Archon (1st Round) tournaments. Depending on attendance and progress, options included awarding a 1st round bye to the finalists of the Sealed event and/or moving the start of the Archon event forward/back in order to keep everything moving and everyone playing.

£45 for SEALED, includes 1x Prerelease Kit (containing 3 Archon decks) or 3 Archon decks [depending on the set(s) selected]. The price also covers entry into the later Archon (22nd March, 4pm-ish), and Alliance (23rd March, 11am), Store Championship 2025 events.

This event follows the schism between the ruling factions of house Mars. By participating in this exciting event, players will be able to dictate the outcome of the war and change the face of the Crucible (and KeyForge) forever!
In the Martian Civil War event, each player will represent either the Ironyx Rebel or Elderside of the conflict.
Each event pack contains an even assortment of Elder or Rebel pods (the 12 cards representing the faction). These pods will include never-seen-before cards, exclusive to each side.
This event will be played using the Sealed format rules, with a special rule: Each player must use their assigned Rebel or Elder pod in their final deck.
Once their deck is crafted, each player will play three games, seeking victory for their side so that it may be the faction standing at the end of the Martian Civil War.
Sunday, 15th September 2024
11:00am Start
Format = Sealed
£15.00 per player
Max. 12 players
All players receive:
1x KeyForge Archon deck
1x Rebel or Elder pod
KeyForge @ Clifton Road Games, Exeter
Each side’s victories in this event places them one step closer to a favorable outcome in the war. After the event, each retailer will upload the result of their local games to Ghost Galaxy. We will then tabulate the results and announce a victor!
Winning the Martian Civil War will have permanent and long-term effects for the future of House Mars:
Victory for the Elders will see them maintain the iconography and color scheme of the current house Mars, while future releases of new cards will play into the controlling style of the Elder mindset.
Victory for the Ironyx Rebels will leave scars upon the house of Mars as its iconography will permanently change to that of the Ironyx Rebels. The Mars color scheme will incorporate red and black accents and future cards of house Mars will lean towards what the Rebels does best: fighting.
In addition, whichever side wins, it is they that will receive the first-ever Martian Leader card.
