In KeyForge, you become an Archon, one of the only native inhabitants of the Crucible. This world was built for your kind by the mischievous and enigmatic Architects, who cobbled together pieces of every planet in the galaxy, bringing with them an eclectic variety of creatures, vegetation, cultures, and technology from across the stars!
At the start of your turn, you will choose one of the three Houses within your deck and activate it. Once you have declared your active House, you may only play and use cards from that House, so be sure to choose wisely. Though you only can activate one House per turn, you’re free to use those cards as you please: no cards have a cost in KeyForge, so you can use your active House to run wild, playing and using cards without limit. At the end of your turn, you will draw back up to a full hand of six cards, so it may be best to play as many cards from your hand as possible. Then again, you may want to hold your best tricks back so you can get their full impact at the opportune moment! And that’s just the start of the tactical choices to make in every turn of KeyForge.

KeyForge runs every Tuesday evening at Clifton Road Games, Exeter. From 7pm until 10pm.
Other sessions according to player request/availability.
Formats
ARCHON
The Archon format pits a player’s single Archon deck against the chosen deck of the opponents. Which will be the deck to rule all decks?
Requirements:
One KeyForge Archon deck from any set deemed legal by the tournament organizer. The Archon deck must be complete and unmodified.
SEALED
The Sealed format challenges each player to make the best deck combination from the house pods found in three sealed decks, matching this deck against opponents who have done the same.
Requirements:
Up to three KeyForge sealed decks from the same KeyForge set. Tournament organizers select a single KeyForge set legal for the tournament from amongst the two most recently released sets.
A sealed deck is one that is unopened and sealed in its original packaging.
ALLIANCE
The Alliance format challenges both a player’s gameplay skills and deck-construction strategy by allowing “Alliance” decks to be created from up to three different Archon decks from the same KeyForge set.
Requirements:
One KeyForge Alliance deck consisting of three house pods from up to three different Archon decks from the same KeyForge set. Alternatively, a player may bring one unmodified Archon deck.
REVERSAL
The Reversal format is similar to the Archon format except player’s exchange decks prior to playing! Instead of playing with your own Archon deck, you play against your Archon deck with the deck that your opponents bring. Which will be the deck to fall to all decks?
Requirements:
One KeyForge Archon deck from any set deemed legal by the tournament organizer. The Archon deck must be complete and unmodified.

PRERELEASE is an opportunity to play with a new set up to a week before it goes on general sale.
